Bali day 2


Waiting for Sunrise

Wake up as early as 4:30am for sunrise in Sanur Beach.
ya, all the way from Canggu to Sanur. kasian the driver. Thanks anyway. ;)

In Bali, I notice that there must at least a small garden within the house.
This was taken at Bli Made's house.
The garden with a lots of flower (frangipani & orchid is a must i guess)
is somewhere like outdoor living room.
..aahh love it.

Excellent dinner at Paul's house.
Here, i fell in love with Sambal Matah.
A nice sambal with a strong mix of raw shallots & lemon grass.
Good for health i guess. ;)

we arrived at villa and continue with jacuzzi. :D no single pic ok. ;)

Bali Day 1

I would first and foremost like to say thank you to Made, Paul, Maria & Jessy –(and your family too) for your incredible hospitality and for helping to make my first visit i dreamed it would be would be. Thank you. It's been so lovely and memorable. Everyone has been so helpful & friendly. I look forward to my return (oo OOhh.. :D).

This is truly the Island of the Gods even though Hinduism is the dominant religion (93.5% approx) other faiths exist across Bali. ..(1.4% Christian-Catholic & Protestant) the rest was Muslim.


Gereja Katolik Paroki Roh Kudus Babakan, Bali.

First, we attend Sunday Mass (mass start at 7am) at Gereja Katolik Paroki Roh Kudus Babakan, Bali
yup, to thank God for given the power and blessing to visit this land. ;)

The Soul Villa Canggu
What a wonderful place to stay. Super clean and very quiet.
nice eh. 3 bedrooms and only two of us occupy this villa, how cool...
Love everything about this villa, the design, the wood craving detail,
the swimming pool
(I've been testing swimming pool ph the pass 10 yrs - so i know how good the water is hehe),
jacuzzi, the window with spectacular view of Canggu paddy field.
..and the three of them, Wayan, Ketut & (ah i forgot his name) the caretaker.

Kedisan is a small rural village on the edge of Lake Batur, under the shadow of the magnificent active volcano Mt Batur.
Kedisan is in the Kintamani region in the district of Bangli, 2.5 hours from Denpasar Airport

next..Tirta Empul Temple
Hinduism in Indonesia is primarily associated with Bali.
Hindu believers in the early 1990s were relatively few outside of Bali,
where they made up more than 93.5 percent of the population

Healing Power of Water

Tirtha Empul Temple located at Bali central part Tampak Siring district.
Tirta means "The holy water" in Indonesian language.
The source of the water is from the sacred spring in the middle area.
Hindu society in Bali believe that this water source can heal various of diseases, hence every day this place is a lot of visited by Hindu people to do the ritual and sanctify them self .
This place has been opened for public and as a famous tourist destination in Bali.

Bali - always in my heart

I just found this pending post in my draft.  Throwback February this year my trip to Bali, I just can't get enough of this place..

"Whosoever offers to Me with devotion a leaf, a flower, a fruit, or water; that offering of love, of pure of heart, I accept.” (Lord Krishna teaches Arjuna how to pray in the Bhagavad Gita.)

Visiting bali is like a magical appeal and i don't know how does it happen.




This is my recent trip to Bali, this time with my best photography geek buddy .




Day 1 -18 Feb 2016
Direct flight  KK - Denpasar. Now AA discontinue the route. hmmmm

We arrived in Bali about 9:30pm and had our dinner at Cafe Kechil. Thank you Imp for waiting till midnight. & Thanks Nadia for the treat. *XO*


DAY 2 -19 Feb 2016
Always God first. Our first activity,  morning Mass at Seminari Menengah Roh Kudus Tuka, Badung. ( a Church for this mission school)



*Morning round, finding 'jajan' (Indonesian snack)  or sort of kuih muih for breakfast.
*Drop by at Canggu beach to find some fresh fish.
*On the way home, we saw pig slaughtering process (ya, in the middle of the road!). We've been told that a big festival is around the corner (Kuningan)


Our journey continue to Gua Maria Bunda Karmel, Bedugul, Bali.
..and this is peace...
where there is always something special about this place.

too many tourist but i still feel the peace in this place.

Its raining but we manage to drop by at Bedugul market.

DAY 3 - 20 Feb 2016
Next day to Monkey forest. means a lots of monkeys in here!

O yeah.. Tegalalang rice field. Now i witness this view in my very own eye. Breathtaking..


On our way home, YES ! finally i manage to blend in this crowd. How lucky!

DAY 4 - 21 Feb 2016
Attend Sunday Mass at Gereja Santa Theresia Tangeb


View around Desa Cepaka. We stay 2 nights in here. Desa Cepaka homestay. Nice place. Nice food, nice people.

Today we visit Sukawati Art Market Nice place, nice food, cheap local stuff. 


Drop by at Warung Mina to tapau food  for Dewi suprise birthday. hehe gotcha 


DAY 5 - 22 Feb 2016

Next day we went to Nusa Dua. Beautiful beach, wonderful resort.  

Geger beach. One of the beach that i fall in love with.

Next stop : the very famous Kuta Beach.  


DAY 6 - 23 Feb 2016
 Manage to makeover for all these girl for a competition



Stay at Dewi Sinta in Tanah Lot. A good place to end the day.



Day 7 - 24 Feb 2016

Attend Morning Mass at Catholic Church of Roh Kudus, Babakan, Badung, Bali
