Ulat Bulu & Chocolate Chips - Recipe


I am about to share perhaps the easiest and  most soft  recipe I have ever tried. I may not be a perfectionist, but I have been trying this recipe for years now after adjusting here and there.

The second recipe is Chocolate Chips, Hayden wants to bake it one day and I guess he confuse with my hand writing in the recipe book and mixed up with other cookies recipe.  However, it turns to a delicious and super soft cookies.


Biskut Ulat Bulu

Chocolate Chips Cookies




1. DATES COOKIES (or  BISKUT ULAT BULU)

INGREDIENTS:
250gm butter softened
2 egg yolk
Green color (optional)
300gm all purpose flour
100gm corn flour
Castor sugar or icing sugar (for dusting the cookies after baking)

DIRECTIONS:
Preheat oven to 150 degree
In a large bowl, beat butter & sugar until fluffy. Add egg yolk and green color, beat until well blended.
Sift flour, add to butter mixture. Mix the flour using hand until it became dough.
Shape the cookies and add dates (kurma)
Place cookies in a greased baking sheet.
Bake 30-40 min. or until the botoom of the cookies are lightly brown.
When it cool, coat with castor sugar (or icing sugar)


2. Chocolate chips cookies

INGREDIENTS:

125gm butter
200gm ghee
50gm sugar
300gm all purpose flour
200gm tapioca flour
Chocolate chips

DIRECTIONS:

Preheat oven to 150degree
In a large bowl, beat butter, ghee & sugar until well blended.
Sift flour, add to butter mixture. Mix the flour using hand until it became dough.
Round shape cookies for 20gm each, put in baking sheet and flattened using fork.
Add chocolate chips. (or you can also add in cookies during making the dough.)
*or you can get creative by coat it with cereal or almond flakes.  

Bake 30-40 min. or until the bottom of the cookies are lightly brown.
